YappmanData-PriceFacts: our shelf-price collector

Requests carrying the user agent YappmanData-PriceFacts come from our Apify Actor for Aldi Netherlands and Aldi Nord Germany, which reads supermarket shelf prices (names, pack sizes, prices, unit prices, categories) from the shops' pages. We do not copy images or product descriptions. Requests go out one at a time, about one every two to three seconds, from the platform's own network, and a block or rate-limit answer stops the run for your site at once.

robots.txt

Our Aldi Netherlands and Aldi Nord Germany price tool requests each shop's robots.txt at the start of every run.

Asking us to stop

To ask us to stop, slow down or change anything, write to info@yappman.com or add a group for YappmanData-PriceFacts to your robots.txt. We will act on either.
