Notice: sold-prices mode changes in version 0.3
UK Property Listings on the Apify Store. Posted 5 October 2026. Version 0.3 will not be released before 5 November 2026.
Clarified 6 October 2026.
Changed 7 October 2026.
Updated 8 October 2026.
From version 0.3 of UK Property Listings, mode: "sold-prices" will read sold prices from our own monthly copy of HM Land Registry's Price Paid Data instead of Rightmove's sold-price pages. If you use sold-prices mode, your inputs and the rows you get back will change. Listings mode (search and listing) does not change.
What changes
- One row per sale, not per property. Each row is one registered sale, with HM Land Registry's own
transactionId,priceanddate. ThepropertyId,sales,lastSoldPrice,lastSoldDate,areaandlandRegistryUpdatedAtfields go. New on every row:tenure,newBuild,categoryandlocalAuthority. portalbecomes"landregistry"on sold-price rows.- History: back to 1995. A run with no dates set looks back 10 years;
soldWithinYears(up to 40) orsoldFromreaches back to 1 January 1995, the first year of HM Land Registry's data. (Updated 8 October 2026.) - Every registered sale. The 1,000-rows-per-area limit goes. The 1,000-rows-per-run ceiling and
maxItemsstay. - Inputs. Full postcodes, postcode sectors, outcodes and local authority names. Rightmove
/house-prices/URLs are no longer accepted; a run that gives one is told which input to use instead. - Filters. Any date range, price, property type, tenure, new build and category.
- Which sales. By default, rows are HM Land Registry's standard (category A) sales, the ones Rightmove's sold pages show;
saleCategory"additional"(repossessions, buy-to-let and company purchases, transfers not at market value) or"any"widens it. - Price.
sold-pricefalls from $3.00 to $2.00 per 1,000 rows (higher plans $1.80, $1.60 and $1.40), plus the per-run start event, only when rows are returned; a run is not charged if our copy is out of date. (Changed 7 October 2026.) - Bedrooms and bathrooms are opt-in (
includeBedsBaths, off by default). When on, they are filled only where a sale matches Rightmove's sold record exactly, so they are often empty for older sales. - Freshness. Updated within days of each monthly HM Land Registry release. HM Land Registry registers sales weeks to months after completion, so the newest months are always incomplete.
What does not change
- Postcode level only: no street address, and coordinates are the postcode's centroid.
- England and Wales only.
- The data is HM Land Registry's, under the Open Government Licence.
What to do
If you call sold-prices mode from code or a scheduled task, check your inputs and the fields you read against the list above before 5 November 2026. The full details will be in the Actor's README and CHANGELOG with the release.
